Jamie Foxx Breaks His Silence Amid Hospitalization
Jamie Foxx has broken his silence amid his recent hospitalization. The Oscar-winning actor posted to Instagram a short and simple message reading, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.” He also included hands pressed together, fox and heart emoji.
Foxx also took to his Instagram Story to thank Nick Cannon, who will be filling in for him as the guest host of Beat Shazam during its sixth season.
“Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon,” Foxx wrote on his Instagram Story. “See u all soon.”
Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, who serves as a DJ on Beat Shazam, is also said to be absent this upcoming season, according to TMZ. Beat Shazam is filmed in Ireland and is scheduled to air on Fox beginning May 23.

“Beat Shazam has been an unscripted mainstay on the FOX schedule for six seasons and counting. This season, not wanting fans of the game show to miss a minute of fun, Nick Cannon has offered to fill in as guest host for his friends, Jamie and Corinne Foxx. Kelly Osbourne will be filling in as guest DJ,” a statement shared on Instagram read. “Everyone at FOX Entertainment wishes Jamie well as he continues his recovery and we greatly appreciate Nick’s willingness to jump in and help this summer.”
On April 12, Corrine Foxx, shared a statement on Instagram on behalf of the Foxx family. “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Corinne shared.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” the statement read. “The family asks for privacy during this time.” Several stars publicly gave their well wishes to Foxx and his family during this time.
Foxx’s specific medical condition has not been disclosed publicly at this time.
