NEWARK, NEW JERSEY - AUGUST 28: DaniLeigh attends the 2022 MTV VMAs at Prudential Center on August 28, 2022 in Newark, New Jersey.

DaniLeigh was arrested for a DUI on Tuesday morning (May 30) in Miami Beach. Police claim she was involved in a DUI hit-and-run TMZ reports. The person DaniLeigh allegedly hit with her vehicle had some back injuries and was riding a moped at the time of the accident.

According to the police report, obtained by the tabloid, “Dani was seen by several witnesses driving at a high rate of speed and swerving in and out of lanes near Miami Beach. Eventually, cops say she struck somebody who was on a motorized scooter and dragged the moped for about a block. Somebody flagged down a nearby officer, who then initiated a stop.”

Dani reportedly took a field sobriety test during the stop, which the law enforcement source says she failed. She followed up with a breathalyzer test. The officer claims she blew a 0.145 and 0.148. Those results are nearly twice the legal limit to operate a vehicle.

The “Easy” singer was booked and taken to jail on three felony charges: driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury, and DUI damage to property.

The man Dani allegedly hit was treated at a local hospital following the accident. Cops told the tabloid that he suffered a kidney laceration and a spinal fracture.

In 2021, Dani was charged with simple assault. This was after DaBaby called law enforcement to have her and their newborn removed from his home. Dani and the “Savage” rapper used to date and share an almost two-year-old daughter named Velour Leigh.

DaniLeigh was charged with two counts of simple assault after officers visited the rapper’s home twice. Law enforcement told TMZ at the time,” DaBaby accused the singer of striking him, but police left without making an arrest.”

The second incident happened the following day. The rapper posted a video of him and the singer arguing over the alleged abuse. DaBaby asked the singer to leave his home once again.

Later that afternoon, DaniLeigh posted a photo to her Instagram Story of the ceiling of a jet with the words, “I left and me and my baby are safe. Thank y’all for the support.”
