What do you look for when seeking out unbeatable bread? There are a few non-negotiables here. Stepping into the bakery, you must be overcome by the aroma coming from the ovens. It’s a gravitating sensory trigger that is not too heavy but enough to result in a “What is that? I need that!” reaction.

If you are not in the Miami area, look for a Whole Foods in South Florida. Zak The Baker supplies fresh sourdough bread and pastries to these 15 Whole Foods Markets. The “bread department” within the cafe and bakery is where you will find their popular bread selection. There’s an assortment of options here, including wheat, multigrain, Jewish rye, baguettes, and walnut cranberry (to name a few).
In addition, Zak The Baker Bakery has been certified as Kosher since 2014. “On Fridays, the highlight is the Jewish Challa Bread,” The Bread Guide states. Many of their savory dishes served in the café also come with slices of fresh bread so that you truly get their full bakery experience.
Two Florida Restaurants Named Among The Best For French Fries
Do you want fries with that? Tasting Table recently published a list of restaurants with the best French Fries in the country and two New Florida establishments were named.
“From high-end steakhouses and neighborhood brasseries’ to fast food restaurants and even grocery store freezer aisles, fried spuds can be found in just about every type of restaurant or shop across the country,” Tasting Table explains. Their feature is specific to non-fast food restaurants.
French Fries are always a fan-favorite whether a side dish, an appetizer, or just a snack. They come in all shapes and sizes. Shoe strings crispy versions, thick-cut steak fries, seasoned curly fries, waffle fries, and even tater tots (are those considered fries, though?).
