Florida Tourist Arrested After Intimate Encounter with a Manatee Statue
When you hit up Florida, play it cool with the manatees. Even if it’s a manatee statue. Just ask Anthony Lessa, a 23-year-old tourist from Pittsburgh. He got into a bit of trouble in St. Pete Beach, causing a scene at two joints… The Postcard Inn On The Beach and Rick’s Reef Restaurant, where Lessa’s wild moves could make even a drunk guy look tame.
According to FOX35, Lessa’s night got weird when he decided to toss gator nuggets (fried bits of alligator) into the mix at Rick’s Reef Restaurant. The menu said “gator bites,” but Lessa’s version involved tossing them like confetti.
Of course, chaos followed. When the restaurant staff called him out, Lessa didn’t slip away quietly. Nope, he went all out, supposedly getting “belligerent” and pulling some questionable moves with a manatee statue. Yes, he tried to get his freak on with a manatee statue.
Unfazed by his first run-in with the law, Lessa sprinted down Gulf Boulevard, probably thinking he’d heroically return to his haven at the Postcard Inn On The Beach. Little did he know, his boozy antics had already set off a chain of events, turning him into the star of a freaky Florida fiasco.
Manatee Statue mayhem:
The hotel manager, did the smart thing and dialed the cops. Lessa, now a one-man show of bad language, refused to spill his room number and kept the party going in the lobby. Kicked off the property, he stood his ground in the parking lot, causing traffic jams and ticking off other guests.
When the cops finally nabbed Lessa, they found a walking cocktail of booze and dilated pupils. His memory, stuck on repeat, had him repeatedly asking why he was getting busted. In the wild tales of drunk tourists in Florida, Anthony Lessa has certainly carved out his spot. It kind of makes us all wondering… What the hell was in those gator bites?
My Favorite Waffle House Fight Video Dropped One Year Ago Today
What’s with Waffle House lately? I keep looking, but we’re not seeing any really good fight scenes. Now to be clear, I’m not looking for people to get hurt, but I miss the craziness. Last month in Virginia a woman got shot, but there’s no video of the fight. Also, like I said, we’re not looking for people to get hurt. Just Waffle House fight video craziness. Especially Florida Waffle House craziness – my favorite.
So what’s My Favorite Waffle House Fight Video?
Before we get to that, maybe here’s some insight on why we’ve seeing less fight videos. The Waffle House employees are .@WaffleHouse workers just delivered 13K signed petitions demanding $25/hr, security in all stores, an end to mandatory meal deductions straight to Waffle House corporate HQ in Atlanta. How did Waffle House respond? They threw them all in the TRASH #UnionsForAll #SolidaritySeason pic.twitter.com/AY2wkX9W8c

They want $25/hr, pay, security in all stores, an end to mandatory meal deductions. The third demand is the one that caught me. So they have to pay for a meal whether or not they eat at the restaurant? I’ve worked at many restaurants and pizza places and I don’t recall ever paying for a meal. Sure, there were some hard nosed bosses that said you needed to pay for food, but we always found a way around that. At Waffle House it’s automatically taken from your check.
So maybe there’s some compassion for the employees right now. They really do go through a lot. So I’ll put my favorite Waffle House fight video below. And no one got hurt in the video. If you’re at work, watch the sound. There’s a LOT of words in these videos that could get you in trouble with HR.
First, since it’s the holiday season, let’s check some of the runner-ups.
