When I’m looking for a hotel, I always make sure it’s got a good pool and one Florida swimming spot has made a list of the Best Hotel Pools in America.
There’s nothing like a lazy day at a hotel pool while on vacation. Or spending a day adventuring and coming back and relaxing poolside. Especially a waterfront destination like Miami, Clearwater Beach, St. Pete or Sarasota. Feeling that ocean breeze while servers bring you cocktails, or better yet, while sitting at a swim-up bar.
But think about it, when you’re staying at a nice hotel the pool is a great place to do a few things in particular. First, it’s a great place to show off a new swimsuit. Also, you can pretend you’re on a luxurious tropical island. Sure, you may be in the middle of a city, but when you’re lounging by the hotel pool with a cold drink and the sun on your face, it’s easy to pretend. And, let’s be real- hotel breakfasts are usually pretty indulgent. From pancakes to pastries, just hit the hotel pool for a swim and you can work off all those calories and start your day on the right foot. Let’s not forget about people watching too.

Vegas has so many amazing hotel pools but Mandalay Bay is definitely one of the best. They brought in over 2,700 tons of sand so it feels like you’re at the beach. There’s also a wave pool, lazy river, cabanas and day beds. AND the Moorea Beach Club has a topless-optional adults-only pool.

Marriott Marquis- Houston, TX
This rooftop pool features a lazy river shaped like the state of Texas, along with an infinity pool, a fire pit and cabanas.

Ritz-Carlton, South Beach- Miami, FL
Not only is the property as a whole gorgeous, but this oceanfront infinity pool is definitely one to check out. They have day beds, lounge chairs and complimentary fruit-infused water and sunscreen.
