Well, it’s almost Halloween. The atmosphere feels a little scary at this time of year. Things become slightly spookier. You are aware of the sensation when your spine begins to tingle with fear. The environment is frostier. Not just because it’s Halloween, but also because it’s almost Christmas, and you just looked at your credit card account, makes your pulse beat that much quicker.
Have pleasure at the moment before you start worrying about buying your holiday gifts. Halloween is a holiday. What better way to accomplish this than by seeing some extremely gruesome films?
A recent survey found that 31% of us had stopped watching a scary movie because we were too terrified to continue. This year, 55% of us plan to watch at least one scary movie for Halloween, and 73% will turn off all the lights to make the atmosphere eerier.
Redbox has surveyed 800 customers to determine the number of people who watch scary movies. A majority of people—57%—said they enjoy viewing scary movies, and this year, 55% say they’ll watch at least one around Halloween.
Why watch only one? It’s fun to be scared! Di you know that Instead of going to the movies, 92% of people who watch scary movies prefer to watch them at home? Much better that way. It’s a lot easier for the monster under your bed to enjoy the film with you.
