August Alsina posted some bloodied photos over the weekend. He’s claiming that Tory Lanez attacked him. In a lengthy Instagram post, Alsina explained in detail the events that transpired before Lanez allegedly hit him. According to the singer, he was by himself when Lanez pulled up with eight security guards backstage to an event in Chicago. Alsina says he greeted each guard individually since they tried to “press him.”

Lanez allegedly asks why Alsina didn’t dap him up upon seeing him and that’s when the singer begins to explain why he decided not to dap the Toronto rapper up. Since Alsina recently overcame being paralyzed, his doctors advised him not to compromise his health by shaking hands on the road due to COVID-19 and monkeypox. Additionally, it gets more personal as Alsina accused Lanez of putting his business out publicly in the past since he didn’t know him or ever met him until last night.

Alsina said that no disrespectful words were exchanged so he was surprised him Lanez hit him. The singer claims that Lanez “hit a blunt laced with cocaine” since he “heard the fizzle” before he was attacked. Alsina says after Lanez hit him he ran behind one of his security guards that had a gun.

“There was never a ‘fight!’ Simply an assault,” Alsina wrote.

The singer also wrote that Lanez has been going to the blogs spreading “falsities.” He added that the alleged altercation was documented so if the footage is ever released the truth will come out, “His ppl got the whole thing on camera, PUT. THE. FOOTAGE. OUT!! I’d like to see it :).”

Shortly after Alsina’s post, Lanez spoke about the alleged incident on his Instagram Story, per gossip site TMZ. He said that the whole thing is a lie. “I don’t know what everybody is talking about…But I’ve been in the studio. I’m not in anything negative…I’ve been working on myself…And being a better person,” he wrote.

As of right now, no known legal action has been taken out on either party.
