Cardi B Defends Offset Against Comedian Nicole Arbour
Cardi B does not play when it comes to Offset. The “WAP” rapper took to Twitter after comedian Nicole Arbour came for Offset making music promoting violence shortly after Takeoff's death. Takeoff, a member of the rap group Migos was shot and killed earlier this month in Houston.
“Man… few weeks after his cousin was murdered over a dice game…” Arbour wrote Sunday night (Nov. 27). “Offset’s making new music about shooting people and shooting places up. Not a single thing was learned.”
Cardi quote-tweeted the post and replied: “The fact you trying to use the death of some1 I love to get clout is crazy …..I’m not going to do none of that ….I’m just going to pray for you.”

“The fact that you think it’s about that is crazy,” Arbour replied. “You continue to promote the exact thing that traumatized your family. By doing that… by glorifying and edifying the murder of black men, it’s gonna keep happening!”
In a since-deleted post per HotNewHipHop, the Bronx rapper continued, “He hasn’t even been to a studio since Take died so wtf are you talking about?” she wrote.
Arbour responded with a video from Halloween of Offset dressed as The Joker: “My bad y’all…@iamcardib just posted this and I was sure it was Offset rapping about murder with a fake gun. Honestly, my bad if that’s not what this video is.”

The comedian proceeded to ask Cardi to join her for an episode of her show The Arbour Affect but decided to retract the offer after she accused the rapper of photoshopping fake Facebook posts about her being racist in the past.
“Yoooooo now @iamcardib is photoshopping s— with my name on it to pretend I’m racist because she wants to defend promoting the killing of black men as ok???,” she wrote with an attached video of Cardi explaining an alleged old Facebook post by Arbour. “The f– is wrong with you!?!? Notice she mentions the devil and being evil. Yeah. It’s alllllll showing now.”
“I don’t even have a Facebook and @iamcardib is posting “racist” posts from my Facebook page to millions,” Arbour wrote. “Y’all see what these people do if you talk any sense? Try and smear you, scare you, threaten your family. Of course you’re covered in #Balenciaga The devil workin through u.”
“Yeah @iamcardib I don’t want your photoshopping a– on my show,” she continued.”Truth is you know it’s disgusting that you’re promoting violence right after a murder and instead of saying ‘yeah that is messed up, I shouldn’t do that’ you go full psycho on me for speaking up.”
Cardi has yet to make any additional comments about Arbour or defend the claim that the Facebook posts were made via Photoshop.
