Raising Cane’s Sauce Scuffle Lands Florida Woman in Jail
Look, we all love some good sauce with our chicken, but one Florida woman took things way too far over some missing Raising Cane’s sauce. McKenzie Keeling, 31, found herself in trouble with police because her eight precious packs of Cane’s sauce didn’t make it into her takeout bag. Well, that must be some sauce they got there.
According to WPLG, Keeling called the restaurant, fired up about her missing sauce, and told them she was coming back to get it. The manager greeted her, handed over the missing packs. Crisis averted, right? Nah, Keeling wasn’t done. She demanded extra Raising Cane’s sauce on the house. Because, you know, her time and gas are apparently priceless. The manager said no. That’s when things took a turn for the much worse.
Raising Cane’s Sauce Hell:
Keeling got loud. You know, I’m about to star in a viral meltdown kind of loud. The manager then tried to hold her ground, but Keeling decided to turn this into a straight up contact sport… She lunged, grabbed the manager’s lanyard like it was her golden ticket to unlimited sauce, and gave the poor woman’s thigh a smack in the process.
The commotion didn’t go unnoticed. Other employees saw the whole thing, and, surprise, the cameras caught it all too. Keeling’s dumb attempt to snatch the manager’s keys and employee card wasn’t just embarrassing, it was enough to get her arrested.
She was hit with a strong-arm robbery charge, which is like the justice system’s way of saying… You’ve got to be kidding me lady! Keeling got booked into the Pinellas County jail but didn’t stick around too long because she posted $2,500 bail and was back out shortly after.
WOW. No sauce is worth trading chicken strips for jail bars… Or is the Raising Cane’s sauce REALLY that good?
