I had three holiday parties over the weekend and more are on the calendar as we count down to Christmas. That does not count gatherings I’m helping to host. If you’re like me and always looking for something fun to make, here are 5 fast and easy Christmas appetizers for your next soiree and for TikTok Tuesday.

No matter how much I plan, I always seem to be scrambling to put things together. There are three things that are important for my appetizers and party foods. First, I want them to taste great. Second, I want them to look appealing. Third, I need them to be easy to execute for the sake of time.

Easy Christmas Appetizers

Another thing I like, is to find one recipe that can be easily adapted when it comes to ingredients. Something I can use as a base for a variety of flavors. These are the types of recipes you’ll find when you scroll down.

  • Christmas Tree Stuffed Breadsticks

This one would look great on any holiday table. It’s also an appetizer that you could have some fun with in regards to the filling. If you are not a fan of spinach, there are so many other things you could put on the dough and bake.

  • Mini Cheeseballs

Nothing says a holiday party quite like a cheeseball. I love that these are bite sized. Well, maybe two or three bites, but still manageable. And no utensils are needed, not even a toothpick.

  • Holiday Bark

Every time I see this I want to try it. This is another one you can customize with your favorite ingredients. I might even leave it whole and let people break off what they want.

One of my favorite Christmas treats to serve ❤️ ✨INGREDIENTS ✨ * 1 cup butter * 1 Cup brown sugar (packed) * 2 Cups pretzel twists* * 1 1/2 Cups Melted chocolate** * Toppings of your choice: * We chose Christmas sprinkles, sea salt, melting chocolate, peppermint candies, shredded coconut and crushed pretzel pieces. ✨INSTRUCTIONS ✨ 1. Preheat Oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Melt butter and sugar in 1 quart saucepan over medium heat. 3. Bring to a boil and boil constantly for three minutes until it turns thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and set aside. 4. Cover a baking sheet in parchement paper. 5. Place a layer of pretzels on the parchment. Sides touching but no overlapping pretzels. 6. Pour toffee mixture over the pretzel twists to make an even layer. 7. Bake 5 to 7 minutes. 8. Remove pan from oven and allow to cool until pretzels are somewhat set. About 5 minutes. 9. Melt the chocolate and pour it over the cooled pretzel-toffee layer. 10. Decorate the chocolate while warm if pressing hard objects (like candies, shredded coconut or crushed pretzels) into the chocolate. After chocolate is cooled add colored melted chocolate drizzles or other liquid decorations that need to harden and set. 11. Cool until hard. Break apart or cut into sections and serve. #christmastreats #cookieexchange #christmascookies #christmascrack #toffeebark
