I always get excited when a true crime series is released and a university in Tampa is featured in a new true crime series on Hulu.
Yesterday a new series dropped on Hulu called The Lesson is Murder. Of course, being the true-crime junkie that I am, I had to check it out. The series follows criminology professor and former FBI Special Agent Dr. Bryanna Fox.
Dr. Fox teaches a class at the University of South Florida. This series looks into the minds of serial killers to look at why killers kill. In each episode, Dr. Fox, along with graduate students reinvestigate three different murders. The first is serial killer Will Davis, a nurse who killed four patients. Another is Robert Fratta who killed his wife in a murder-for-hire plot. And the third is Ivié DeMolina who was convicted of heading up robberies that resulted in the death of two men.
ABC News Studios is behind the series that has produced other true-crime series for Hulu Wild Crime: Murder In Yosemite (which I highly recommend), Still Missing Morgan, Killing County, Death in the Dorms and Web of Death.
The true crime series The Lesson is Murder is streaming on Hulu now.
