Peeping Tom : South Florida Man Behind Bars for Secret Gym Bathroom Cameras
Meet Bernardo Santiago Lopez, a 30-year-old from Pompano Beach who’s making waves in the weird world of crime. Lopez is not your average neighbor… Accusers have leveled serious allegations against him. Things like turning YouFit gyms in South Florida into the stage for his own perverted peep show .
According to WSVN, this strange tale started in September when someone stumbled upon a hidden camera in the YouFit gym in Deerfield Beach. Turns out, Lopez had been planting these sneaky cameras in the men’s bathroom. The gym staff, led by their regional manager turned detective, started looking for more of these futuristic peeping Toms.
Guess what? Again, they found more cameras in Boynton Beach, Davie, and another spot in Deerfield Beach. Lopez didn’t settle for just one location; he took his bizarre hobby on a tour, even making a stop at a YouFit in Miami.
South Florida Surveillance:
Now, brace yourself for the weird part: these cameras were connected to the internet and had images of around 50 unsuspecting gym-goers in their birthday suits. Yep, people doing their gym thing, completely unaware they were being broadcast online without their say-so. Not exactly your typical fitness class experience.
Lopez got nabbed on November 3, and honestly, it wasn’t a shocker. Gym records placed him at the scenes of his bathroom invasion, and there’s even a video of him setting up his covert cameras in Deerfield Beach. As if that’s not enough, he spilled the beans, admitting he got some strange joy out of his secret camera hobby.
Now he’s sitting in Broward County Jail with a $25,000 bond, waiting to face the music in Palm Beach County. So, next time you’re at the gym in South Florida, keep an eye out . You never know when someone might be trying to turn your workout into their personal peep show.
Insane Brawl At Florida Intersection Caught On Camera
The topic of road rage comes up on my show at least once a month. Road rage incidents have always happened but over the past couple of months many videos of people in action have surfaced. There was just a situation that happened in Tampa. A couple got out of their car and began attacking a Brandon woman’s vehicle at that Florida intersection. Not sure what led to the fight, but it’s being reported as a road rage incident.
Have you ever been in a road rage situation? I have been in one and had to pull over just let the angry man go ahead of me. What got the man upset was me getting over quickly before I missed my exit. I had my blinker on and everything.
He was very angry and kept yelling out of the window that I cut him off. After we got off on the exit, he proceeded to follow me and kept getting on my bumper. I then decided to pull over and I got my phone out. My phone was out to call the police and to record.
If you are a person with road rage, please remember that it’s never that serious.
Don’t let someone in traffic get you to the point where you do something that will land you in jail.
According to a study that was published in Human Psychopharmacology: Clinical & Experiment, drivers who smelt the essential oil peppermint displayed fewer aggressive driving behaviors. You may not have peppermint oil, but you can get the tree air freshener. The tree air freshener smells like peppermint.
I wish the woman in the video below would have smelled peppermint before getting out of her car and attacking people. This incident happened in the neighborhood I use to live in. I recognize the street sign and Winkler road in Fort Myers is the Florida intersection where the fight took place.
